Donations
On behalf of a kind, selfless, and deeply generous man who has unexpectedly found himself in a life-threatening predicament . A devoted son, a loyal husband, and my beloved childhood friend, 47- year-old Dejan Cetenovic from Kraljevo , Serbia has recently been diagnosed with extremely rare , deadly disease called Primary Sclerosing Cholangitis with Autoimmune Hepatitis after the sudden onset of symptoms. The condition affects the liver , which is damaged and eventually fails due to a bile buildup.
Unfortunately, since Dejan’s condition is rapidly progressing, it is estimated that he has only 2-3 months to live without a liver transplant. The specificities of the condition require living donors. Seeing as Dejan is known for his humanitarian efforts, including being a long time blood donor, the family has been able to find 13 compatible volunteer donors ( one of whom is Dejan’s wife) for living donor liver transplant. However, due to the currently limited options for transplantation procedures in his native country of Serbia, Dejan and his donors will be required to travel abroad and the procedure, alongside relevant treatments , is estimated to cost €150 000. The success rate of liver transplantation in addressing Primary Sclerosing Cholangitis is very high and there is cause for hope .Dejan’s friends and family are not able to come up with this amount in such a short time frame , which is why we ask your help today. The funds will be directed to Dejan and his wife Danijela . Dejan is currently hospitalized in Belgrade , awaiting transplantation preparation, and receiving plasmapheresis treatment, the only method that has so far shown promise in arresting the progress of the disease. Still, the time is running out and Dejan’ s loved ones are urgently gathering resources to aid Dejan in his need, as he has been doing for so many people his entire life.
We would be eternally grateful for any help you can provide in the struggle to save Dejan’s life. Please click below to donate through gofundme!
